This caddy holds 10 large or small spools of thread, your pins, your needles and a space for your scissors to slide in between two beautiful puffy hearts.
This listing is for one empty caddy, but if you want it “loaded” with 10 regular spools of thread, straight pins and a pair of scissors, there will be a $15.00 charge for the supplies. (See the picture of the blue hearts caddy showing the what you will get with the loaded version.) If you are giving it as a gift, these are easily accessible, but if you want it to arrive loaded, just let me know so I can send you an invoice.
Years ago, when I was traveling to exhibit my crafts, in particular, spending weeks at a time at Dollywood, not only did I pack my finished items, but also needed to bring my tools and materials so I could demonstrate and replenish my stock.
I never had a lot of space to work in and the heart of my tools needed to be handy and organized. After trying many frustrating solutions, I designed this sewing caddy to hold my pins, needles, scissors and 12 large or small spools of thread. The puffy hearts I use in so many of my other items now became double sided pin cushion. The first time I used the finished product, I was so thrilled with how practical, workable and cute it was that I knew it would also become a popular item for my sewing customers. When I pack it to travel, I just slide it down inside a gift type bag and its good to go until I need it. In most cases, I had fun using coordinating fabrics for the hearts , however, if you would like this caddy in your colors, just ask and I will email you other choices or find the fabrics you describe. I would also be willing to make the hearts in your own fabric if you want to pop a quarter yard into an envelope! This item is ready to ship within one day.
